A frustum of a pyramid is the portion of a pyramid that remains after its top is cut off by a plane parallel to the base. It has two parallel polygonal bases (a smaller top base and a larger bottom base) connected by trapezoidal faces. The volume formula is: Volume = ⅓h(B₁ + B₂ + √(B₁B₂)), where B₁ and B₂ are the areas of the bases. |
